Hello good readers,

Been a while that I wrote on my blog, in case you are wondering...its been an eventful year so far for my company. We are finally exporting agro commodities and in addition, have started on projects like livestock farming and organic fertilizer experiments in the tropics and savannah ecological regions. Yes, We are breaking through in the industry though, the security situation in the North eastern region of our country isn't making these challenges any easier. In all this, farming activities in these areas, known for their beans, livestock, irrigation farming (FADAMA projects have been consistently effective in these areas) tends to suffer. These violent activities and insecurities in the country threatens growth in the agriculture. 

About sixty 60% of food and livestock we consume comes from this region and millions of families depend on subsistence farming activities to cater for their needs. Not only their lives are being threaten but also, their heritage. it is very important that stability is restored and confidence of being protected by the Government is re-established in these affected areas. It is our 'hope' that a 'permanent solution' will be provided soonest to curb this evil activities because non of our religious beliefs allows nor supports us to harm others on behalf of God or any person. 

We Nigerians have lived together, shared lands and other resources for decades and these activities is threatening our existence. We join others in protest to 'bring back our girls' and share the pains of the parents of these girls. Children are God's gift to us and this is the worst experience a parent should have . We look forward to having them back ASAP!


More protest; I will like my readers to join in our campaign to ban genetically modified seeds. Africa is blessed and endowed with natural food with unique taste and healthy benefits. African foods brews vitality and energy; that's why we are green! We don't require genetically modified seeds to either feed our population or boost trade. Our capacity to produce more nutritiously comes down to implementing (effectively) policies that will enhance both farming and the lives of the farmers, access to Agric grants and loans, provision of proper storage, cheaper alternatives to expensive farm machinery/equipment, more sensitization and orientation programs, commodity insurance cover, proper food handling and transport networks, most importantly, consistencies in all these activities.

When we are able to tackle the mentioned issues, our production will appreciate and significant growth will be released without having to contaminate our 'well preserved' unique food quality! Besides, genetically modified seeds are banned in more advanced countries all over the world... we are blessed to be intelligent enough to learn from their experience, we don't need to go through it to know its negative effect on human and animal lives!
